Philippines Minimum Wage by Region (2026): Daily Rates in Pesos and US Dollars

The Philippines has no single national minimum wage: regional wage boards set daily rates, and as at 31 October 2026 they run from ₱411 to ₱755 a day for non-agriculture (about US$7 to US$12). Metro Manila is highest, at ₱755 a day, about ₱16,421 a month on a five-day week. Rates also differ by sector and location inside a region, so the table below gives each area.

  • Highest: Metro Manila, ₱755 a day for non-agriculture (US$12.05), under Wage Order NCR-28, from 26 Sep 2026.
  • Lowest non-agriculture rate: ₱411 a day (US$6.56), in most of the Bangsamoro region (BARMM). Agriculture in the same areas is ₱401.
  • 17 regional boards have a wage order in force, plus a separate set of monthly rates for domestic workers (kasambahays). The Negros Island Region has no order of its own on NWPC's page: Negros Occidental follows Western Visayas and Negros Oriental and Siquijor follow Central Visayas (Class B).
  • Some regions are still stepping up: Bicol to ₱480 on 1 December 2026; BARMM to ₱436–₱461 on 1 December 2026.
  • Monthly and US-dollar figures are conversions. We convert at the US Treasury rate of PHP 62.658 per US$1, and a monthly figure assumes a five-day week of 261 paid days a year, divided by 12. Your employer's own monthly factor can differ.

Each row shows the main rate (usually non-agriculture) in force on the check date, in pesos and US dollars, then the rates for other sectors and the wage order behind it. Regions with several wage areas have a row for each.

  • By region, not nationally. Regional wage boards issue wage orders, and NWPC publishes them. A new order replaces the previous rate for that region from its effective date.
  • Often in tranches. Several regions, including Bicol and BARMM, raise pay in steps over months. The table shows the step in force on the check date and the next one.
  • Metro Manila's second tranche is disputed. NWPC notes that Wage Order NCR-27 is subject to continuing litigation, so we show the rate under NCR-28 and treat the planned ₱780 from 20 January 2027 as unconfirmed.
  • It's a floor for payroll in the Philippines, not the whole cost. Mandatory employer costs, including the 13th-month pay, add to it: see the Philippines country guide and the 13th-month pay guide.
